Let the shot shine.
A smaller marker footprint helps reduce the chance of getting in the way of a great shot.
THREE CONTESTS. ONE REUSABLE KIT.
Golf markers for the side games you love.
Closest-to-the-pin markers
A closest-to-the-pin contest rewards the qualifying shot nearest the hole. Use a ProximiTEES marker to record the current leader’s name, then update it when a closer qualifying shot takes the lead.
Also called closest-to-the-hole or proximity-to-hole markers, these record the contest leader. Measure the shot separately using your event’s chosen method.
Long-drive markers
Mark the leading qualifying drive and record the golfer’s name. For a league, charity outing, or scramble, decide the eligible landing area and how the distance will be judged before the group tees off.
The same reusable markers can be used for long-drive and closest-to-the-pin contests on different holes.
Longest-putt markers
Add a longest-putt contest to your golf outing and record the leader as your group plays through. Set the rules beforehand, including which putts count and how ties are handled.
At the end of the round, collect the markers and pack them into the clip-on pouch for your next event.
From the first shot to the final bragging rights. Five simple steps for your next outing.
STEP 01 / 05
Pick the challenge.
Choose closest to the pin, longest drive, or longest putt. Pick the contest holes and explain which shots count before anyone tees off.

STEP 02 / 05
Mark the shot to beat.
When a qualifying shot takes the lead, use a ProximiTEES marker to mark its location. Follow the course’s guidance and keep the marker clear of play.
Need a distance? Use a separate measuring tool.

STEP 03 / 05
Put a name to it.
Use the clip-on pencil to write the leading golfer’s name on the marker. Now the next group knows whose shot they’re trying to beat.
The marker records the leader—it doesn’t measure the shot.

New leader? Update it.
If another golfer beats the leading shot under your contest rules, move the marker to the new leading position and update the name.

Those little competitions are part of what makes a round memorable. At Modern Golf Shop, we’re keeping things simple with practical gear—from ProximiTEES contest markers to WristHacker Pro wrist support—that’s easy to carry and easy to use.
Are proximity markers the same as closest-to-the-pin markers?
Golf proximity markers record the leader in a closest-to-the-pin or closest-to-the-hole contest. ProximiTEES can also be used for long-drive and longest-putt contests. They do not measure distance; use a separate measuring tool when your event requires one.
What is WristHacker Pro?
WristHacker Pro is a lightweight wrist support brace with adjustable straps, offered for golf, simulator sessions and pickleball. Choose a single, double or triple pack on its Square product page.
What comes in the starter kit?
Each kit includes 9 reusable proximity markers, 9 clip-on pencils, white-out eraser sheets, and a storage pouch with a matching carabiner. A golf ball is not included.
Which contests can I use it for?
Use ProximiTEES to mark closest-to-the-pin, longest-drive, and longest-putt contests. Set your event’s rules before the round so everyone knows how to take part.
Do the markers measure distance?
No. ProximiTEES mark the leading shot and player. Use your own measuring tool when your contest requires an exact distance.
Can I choose the pouch color?
Yes. The Square product page lets you choose from the currently available colors. Make your final selection there before adding the kit to your cart.
Where do I order, and what does shipping cost?
Choose “Choose your kit on Square” to order through our existing Square store. Review the current shipping options, taxes, total and store policies there before paying. Orders ship from the Chicagoland area.
